Your Session Step By Step
-
Step 1: Submit An Interest Form
This is where you share some of your information and expectations with me. I’ll then reach out to you directly and book either an in person or virtual call with you.
-
Step 2: Getting To Know You (All)
During our meeting, we’ll go deeper into what you want to achieve. The locations you’d like to use, the artwork you would like to order and of course, all the important information about your furbaby. All of this information will help me plan the perfect shoot for you.
-
Step 3: Secure Your Booking & Preperation
Select your package/location, pay deposit, and receive your custom prep guide (dog grooming, clothes to wear, time to arrive etc).
-
Step 4: Shoot Day!
This will last between 60-90 mins and I make sure we take lots of breaks so our star(s) don’t get overwhelmed.
-
Step 5: Delivery & Selection
Culling and editing the pictures usually takes around 2 weeks. I’ll then book in either an in person or virtual call to go through the final selections for your gallery and discuss the artwork you would like to order.
Your Questions, Answered
-
That’s the magic, all these dogs are on leashes! I will guide you in how to stand so that it’s easy for me to edit them out but ensures that your pets safety is always top priority.
-
It’s absolutely expected. I’ll take the time to make sure your pet is not stressed out by this situation. I even have a long lens so that I never have to be up close. I’ll never force your pet to do anything they are not comfortable with.
-
We’ll discuss any favorite items that you want in your pictures or that helps your pet relax and you’ll need to bring them to the shoot. I will supply water and some treats but if there are any specific treats that you know your pet responds well to, please bring them along.
-
If you have anything specific you want them to wear, please let me know during our planning call. However, please remove any harnesses, tags, dangly items on their collar. Your pet is the star of the show and we don’t want anything to distract from that unless it is part of their personality.
-
That will depend on how many hands are available. I like to have one person with a dog if possible. If you have two dogs, it would be preferred if you bring someone with you to entertain one while we get solo shots of the other. However, if that’s not possible, we can make it work. Any more than two and we’ll definitely need more hands to keep everyone safe.
-
Absolutely! Every package allows for up to 2 pet parents and 2 dogs per session.
